1. To ensure all projects are handled smoothly & efficiently to meet customer requirements.
2. Ability to lead technical team from tool designing, fabrication, molding process validation & quality control.
3. Ability to interpret engineering drawing, mold flow results, DFM reports, material specifications, technical datasheet & etc.
4. To ensure smooth transferring of approved project & process to production stable process control.
5. Responsible for Engineering change management.
6. Responsible for Design, fabrication & Installation of secondary process/ sub assembly equipments /processes, Tool testing/ trials/ PPAP preparation & submission, Final approval pre-pilot production, PSW release and Project sign off.
7. Source for product components and suppliers as well as liaise with vendors on cost, quality issues and evaluate supplier performance.
8. Responsible for overall site planning and supervision of project.
9. Provide engineering support for proto-builds and mass production, handle product reliability improvement and cost reduction through engineering / design changes,
10. Support R&D in design verification as well as support yield improvements and product stabilization.
11. Be the communication link between company and the customers.
12. To update Engineering manager daily/weekly on the project progress & milestone achievements.

Knowledge in using PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control plan, SPC, MSA and ISO/TS quality management system to handle project management.
Knowledge in micro-controller programming and computer interfacing techniques is an added advantage.
